Heather Stamey Jamison, FNP-BC

Practice Owner / Nurse Practitioner

Heather is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She attended the University of Maine for chemical engineering, and then found her true calling in the nursing field. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1997 from Husson University and her Master of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2006. She has worked as a cardiac nurse, school nurse and IV team nurse. Heather also has nurse practitioner experience in both Primary Care and Sleep Medicine. She realized the dream of opening her own practice in 2012.

Heather holds a very patient-centered philosophy, believing that she and her patients are partners in taking care of their health. She strives to develop a personal relationship with every patient, getting to know them and their families to best understand how to meet their needs. Patient education regarding health is an important part of her approach as is welcoming patients into a caring and compassionate environment, where they feel like a member of her own family.

Born and raised in Maine, Heather has loved calling North Carolina home since 2003. She lives in Mooresville and has four children- Jake, Hannah, Noah and Ella Grace. Following their activities keeps her busy, and she also enjoys exercising and volunteering her time through ministry at her church.

Caitlyn Edwards, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Caitlyn is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Lincoln Memorial University in Knoxville, Tennessee. Caitlyn has a background in Orthopedics. She encourages healthy physical and emotional health. She loves to help patients achieve and maintain their goals in a way that works best for them and their personality.

Caitlyn was raised in Denver, North Carolina and currently lives in Huntersville with her husband and cat, Prym. She is a bookworm that enjoys outdoor activities such as fly fishing, mountain bike riding, running and camping.

Kyle Lamb, FNP-C

Nurse Practitioner

Kyle was born in Louisiana but raised in North Carolina all his life. He achieved his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2007 from UNC Wilmington. He moved to the Charlotte area and practiced as a registered nurse in cardiac and intensive care for 10 years. He went to Western Carolina University for his Master of Science in Nurse and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. Since that time, he has been enjoying learning the broad range of healthcare that family and internal medicine has to offer.

Kyle has a passion to help others enjoy their lives while keeping longevity and quality of life in the forefront of the care plan. He enjoys interacting with people across all stages of life. He is a big proponent of well-rounded health while keeping a balance between physical, mental, spiritual, and social health while avoiding treatments that can be addictive or counterproductive. Kyle brings many years of experience in Primary Care to the Vista team.

Kyle lives with his wife, son and two dogs. They like going to Charlotte FC games and trying to take advantage of the many opportunities that the greater Charlotte area has to offer. He loves to read, tell dad-jokes, and spending time with his family.

Jordan Cochran

Clinical Coordinator

Jordan was born in Asheville, NC and has lived in Denver for the past eight years. She grew up playing sports and is currently in school pursuing her interest in the medical field. Jordan joined the team at Vista Health and Wellness in February of 2014. She has enjoyed getting to know all of the patients and considers her co-workers family.

Hannah Milkins

Administrative Office Coordinator

Hannah, originally from Maine, now resides in Mooresville, NC with her son, Ashton and dog, Baxter. She grew up here in Huntersville and attended East Carolina University for Public Health. She joined the team in 2022 and is happy to be an integral part in making our patients feel valued. Hannah enjoys her time away from Vista by spending time with friends and family, building Legos, painting, music, and photography.

Amy McGinnis

Administrative Office Coordinator

Amy joined the Vista staff in September 2023, and a native of Denver, NC. She is married with a daughter, Addie, and Bailey the beagle, who is the queen of the household. Outside Vista, Amy enjoys spending time with her church, family and friends.

Kathy Cochran

Administrative Office Coordinator

Kathy was one of the first Vista employees, and after a few years working remotely, rejoined the Vista team earlier this year. She lives in Maiden with her husband, Trace and sweet dog, Daisy May. Kathy has two children, Carson and Jordan, and is expecting her first grandchild later this year. She brings a smile to work every day and loves getting to know our patients.

Hannah Tenke

Administrative Office Coordinator

Hannah joined the Vista team in January of 2025 after being a patient for more than 7 years. She originally grew up in Medina, Ohio and moved to Mooresville, North Carolina in 2017 with her parents and 2 sisters.  She is a recent graduate of UNC Charlotte with a bachelor’s in psychology and currently working on her Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  She has a passion for helping people and looks forward to enhancing the patient experience here at Vista.

Libby Hawkins

Administrative Office Coordinator

Libby graduated with degrees in exercise science and chemistry and has spent the past several years working in healthcare — she is excited to be part of a team that supports every patient in achieving their wellness goals. Outside of the office, she can be found hiking, traveling, and exploring the local thrifts. She looks forward to being a part of the team and helping to make your experience with us a great one.

John Jamison

Chief Technology and Informatics Manager

John is responsible for all aspects of technology and connectivity at Vista. He brings over 20 years of IT experience to the team, having worked in various IT capacities including engineering, sales and management. He also worked for 12 years in sales with the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.

John holds a BA in Economics from West Virginia University. Growing up in southern West Virginia he is an avid WVU fan as well as a local high school football coach. He enjoys running and staying active.
